I have written107 publications
My international publications show my interest for ethics and values in society, leadership and organization. I have worked in research since 1999, or actually since 1995 when you include my Award Winning Dissertation for which I was granted a gold medal from Copenhagen University.
My research fields have covered education; politics; sociology, and theology.
I have for the past 8 years done extensive research on expectations to leadership and responsibility, including the phenomenon of guilt (or lack of guilt) in leadership and organizations.
My approach is a combination of the theological semantics of responsibility and guilt and the rhetorical approach, particular Kenneth Burke, on narratives in life. Burke focuses on the drama of life, and I take this approach in analyzing how organizations are soaked in drama, including conflicts over responsibility and guilt. Leadership is about handling these dramas.
